MIDIAN Agricultural Corp. grows eco-friendly Shingo pears using pure natural compost and the unique Green Music Farming Method.
Since 1985, we have never used highly toxic pesticides, growth hormones, or herbicides. As a result, our orchards are rich with fireflies, earthworms, mole crickets, moles, and various beneficial insects.
Especially in winter, the orchards are filled with natural grasshoppers, which thrive in abundance.
To protect the trees, we use only the minimum amount of pesticides necessary to prevent serious disease and pests — no growth hormones of any kind are ever used.
What MIDIAN is most proud of is our Green Music Farming Method, where music is played to the pear trees. This results in pears that are sweeter, softer in texture, and superior in taste.
In addition, MIDIAN has its own cold storage facilities, allowing us to deliver fresh and cool pears all year round.

As a specialized pear orchard, we directly cultivate and operate our pear farms in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province.

MIDIAN Agricultural Corp. cultivates a wide variety of crops, including premium Shingo pears.
To help urban residents reconnect with nature, we have introduced a “Farm Experience Program” where visitors can directly participate in pear farming and learn about rural life.
Beyond primary farming, MIDIAN has expanded into food processing using pears. We were the first in Korea to develop pear jam and acquire a related patent.
In addition, we produce nutritious pear-based beverages inspired by traditional wisdom, contributing to a stable supply of domestic agricultural products and promoting healthier lifestyles.

History of MIDIAN Agricultural Corp.

1970s: 1972.Planted the first pear trees, laying the foundation of MIDIAN’s orchards.

1980s

1986.Selected as a Leading Agricultural Manager in Korea.

1987.Transitioned to eco-friendly farming and pioneered Korea’s first Music Farming Method.

1990s

1993.Designated as a specialized fruit orchard; applied for a patent on pear jam.

1995.Established the first fruit processing plant in Yangpyeong (No.1 in the region)

1997.Acquired a patent for pear jam and received the Regional Economy Award from the Gyeonggi Provincial Governor.

2000s

2002.Received a Commendation from the Gyeonggi Governor.

2005.Awarded by the Korean Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries.

2009.Certified as an organic processed food producer. Launched Bellflower Pear Juice and developed pear-based drinks such as Sansuyu (Cornus fruit) extract.

2010s

2011.Acquired G-Mark (Gyeonggi Province Quality Mark). Awarded by the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. Developed functional pear juice products.

2013.Developed mulberry juice using local specialty crops.

2014.Established the Mamion Food Cooperative.
Launched Kids Bellflower Pear Juice and Baby Pear Juice grown with classical music.

2015.Certified as a Rural Convergence Industry Enterprise (6th Industry Certification).
Awarded by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Won the Grand Prize at the Korea Rural Culture Awards.

2016.Awarded New Knowledge Farmer recognition (Food Processing sector). Donated products to national food banks.

2017.Incorporated as MIDIAN Agricultural Corporation Co., Ltd. Acquired HACCP certification. Launched natural herb pear juice.

2018.Acquired ISO 22000 certification.

2019.Launched Bellflower Pear Juice, Kids Pear Juice, Green Music Pear Juice, and Organic Onion Juice.
Expanded supply to school meal programs.
Introduced new product (Yangbae Juice).
Adopted new brand identity: Alliwon.

2020s

2020.Launched new products: Apple-Pear Juice, Pear Vinegar, ABC Juice, Pumpkin Juice, Bellflower Pear Juice, Kids Pear Juice, Green Music Pear Juice, Organic Onion Juice, and fresh pears for school meals.
Acquired HACCP certification for fruit and vegetable juices.

2021.Began exports to Japan (via Rakuten) and China through Gyeonggi Province Trading Company.

2022.Acquired FSSC 22000 certification (Global Food Safety System).

2023.Signed MOUs in Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Surabaya (Indonesia).

2024.Signed MOUs in Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan).

2025.Expanding exports to Australia and school meal supply programs.
